i've been following this story when it started and think its a crock of shit(the law). all evidence doesn't show anything to do with him and the only eye witnesses are blind as a bat. smells like a setup. i think all you need to do is file a lawsuit against everybody on the oppisite side of the fence to get them moving. your brother sounds innocent to me but he just got to be strong for you folks and himself to pull through. after reading the articles i feel so sorry for him as well as the family. "LAWSUIT" is all i can throw out there. thanks for hearing me out. MERRY XMAS AND HAVE A HAPPY NEW YEAR SHAUN AND DON'T WORRY GOD IS WATCHING US ALL. K-DEN.

Thanks for your posting of support for Shaun. At this point a "lawsuit" is not the forfront of our endeavors. But I understand what you are saying. I guess as human beings and citizens of our "free" country that would be something considered by most. And being one of these people I too shared that feeling at one time or another. But let me share a conversion I had with Shaun on this particular subject and it will show where Shaun's priorities lay. After reading a quote by the prosecutor of this case on the KHNL Website stating that the state had the right man because Shaun had a prior home invasion conviction, I called my brother and questioned him because, 1) I knew of no such conviction for a prior home invasion nor any type of trouble with the law, and 2) Can we allow the prosecutor to slander him in that way? I wrote to incompetent Judge Crandall asking her to make Prosecutor Uehara show Shaun as well as the family the proof to such ridiculous accusations. Of course none was ever brought to fruition because there was no such charge to begin with. Being upset at this man and his blatant attempts to tarnish my brother's image made me also tell Shaun to sue the asses off of everyone including the victims. This was Shaun's response: "That is the furthest from my mind. What I want is to be cleared of these charges and continue to live my life the way I've always had. But if I ever were to consider such a thing, the victims of the crime I'll never touch." I asked him why not, if it weren't for them you wouldn't be in this situation. He said, "they made a mistake, am I any better of a person to sue them?" This floored me, but I wasn't as surprised because this is who Shaun is: kind, compassionate, respectful. I on the other hand am not as forgiving. My response: You're a better person than I, because I'd be living in the older victim's home, wiping my butt with the daughter's law degree. But hey, that's me, not as nice and understanding as Shaun.
